Make the Most Out of Your Marketing in 2023
It’s no secret that a good marketing plan leads to better business. In this month’s member spotlight, Jennifer Micacci, Au.D., of Best Life Hearing Center explained how her practice utilizes every aspect of her marketing plan, along with the help of CQ Partners, to drive her business forward and set herself up for success in 2023.

Q&A with Jennifer Micacci, Au.D., owner of Best Life Hearing Center
1What is one of the most important things you’ve learned about marketing as a business leader?
I would say the most important thing I’ve learned about marketing is being consistent. Have a plan and stick to the plan. You can make changes based on what works and what doesn’t. You also want to be present in different channels, so people notice you in different ways like newspaper and direct mail. I think a lot of it comes back to digital, however. Most people who see you in other ways are then going to check out your website. Having that consistent presence online will benefit you because it works together with the other types of marketing that you’re doing.
2How has CQ helped you create and execute your marketing plan?
The CQ team has kept me accountable for sticking to my marketing plan. They help me to look at what’s working, what’s not working, and ways to make it better. The accountability is probably the biggest piece of it for me.
3What would you tell someone who wants to create a marketing plan but doesn’t know where to start?
How you can start is just by starting. Work with your account manager to look at the big picture. Look at where you need to go and then create ways to get there.
I’m looking at the big picture. I’m looking at the weaknesses of the practice. What holes do I need to fill and how can marketing help me fill those holes? You need to use your marketing with the systems you have in place in the office to make the most of your marketing plan. All of that working together does the trick.
4What are you looking forward to in 2023?
I am looking forward to continued growth. For 2023, with the addition of two locations, I’m looking forward to my marketing really helping to grow those locations and grow the company as a whole. I’m looking forward to learning a lot as I’m doing that because I know that what works in one place doesn’t necessarily work in another place. I know 2023 is going to provide me an education, but continued growth is the biggest thing I’m looking forward to.
