Employee Spotlight Q&A:

1. What is your role at CQ Partners?

I am a Marketing Account Executive. I work with our members on their marketing plans, helping them make their vision become a reality.

2. Tell us a little about your background!

I studied Mass Communication and Media Studies at Penn State University. After graduating, I completed an internship with 7 Mile Publishing and Avalon’s Chamber of Commerce, focusing mainly on social media, event management, and journalism. Before joining CQ, I was the social media coordinator at a staffing agency and had the opportunity to work with major brands such as Amazon, where I had the opportunity to support their brand efforts and gained a lot of valuable experience.

3. What’s your favorite part of your job?

Although I’m not directly helping the patient, I’m still working behind the scenes to help people. Whether that’s assisting our members with growing their business or meeting their financial goals, it all leads to helping patients hear well again.

4. Tell us about a memorable experience you have had at CQ Partners.

Going to Reconnect and meeting our members in person is one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had so far. I talk to so many people every day through e-mail or on the phone; it’s really nice to be able to meet them in person and be able to talk to them on a personal level. Any time I can connect face to face is always great.

5. How do you stay motivated?

I stay motivated by knowing that the work I do has purpose, even something as small as a mailer. It would be easy to overlook its impact but remembering that it reaches potential patients who may need help with their hearing, and ultimately supports our members, gives me a real sense of meaning. Maintaining a positive mindset has also been key, and it’s helped me grow both in my role and personally.

6. What’s something you love doing outside of work?

I love to cook and bake. I’m really into sourdough and experimenting with different inclusions. I recently got a bunch of cookbooks and I try to get out of my comfort zone by making a new recipe every week.
